Tom Dascombe at Manor House Stables
Tom, a former jump jockey, started training in Lambourn in 2005 and in 2009 joined the team at Manor House Stables.
Over the last ten years, Tom has trained a number of Group winners both in the UK and abroad, and notched his first Group 1 and Classic success with Brown Panther in the Irish St Leger at the Curragh in 2014. In addition, Tom has trained several Royal Ascot winners and is currently the leading Flat trainer at Haydock Park, with 69 winners, from 2010 to date.

Tim has made significant progress since taking his licence out in November 2006. He finished the 2007/08 season having had 14 winners and the 2008/9 season having had 55 winners, finishing 22nd in the national trainers championship. In the 2008/9 season Tim trained his first listed race winner when Helen’s Vision won the Gerry Fielden handicap hurdle at Newbury and had a second place in the Fred Winter juvenile handicap hurdle with Ski Sunday at the Cheltenham festival and a second in the 4 year old juvenile hurdle at Aintree to Walkon at the Grand National festival meeting.
Tim passed the milestone of his 100th NH winner in July 2009 as well as achieving the feat of training 4 winners in one day! In 2011 Tim’s career really hit the big time when Saint Are won the Grade 1 Sefton Hurdle at the Aintree festival. Just a few weeks later, Beshabar won the Scottish Grand National.
